About Ms Tonya
My name is Tonya I was born and raised in Alaska where I met my husband Mark , we have 4 grown children and 7 grandchildren.
I started working in centers in 1988 which then led me to doing child care in my own home starting in 1992 after the birth of my youngest child.
Experience and Education
I graduated from Palmer High in 1986 and then went on to graduate from the Career Academy in 1988.
As a licensed childcare provider I am required to maintain a minimum of 24 hours of training per year. I hold a current CPR/First aid certificate and also attend the USDA food program trainings.
I am currently working towards my Child Development Associates Certification(CDA)

Alaska Family Child Care Association:
I served on the Board of Directors for 8 years in the position of Secretary and Treasure.
I served on the conference committee for 9 years.
